The Arbour offers independent over 55’s living with access to otherwise hard to reach leisure facilities, social networks, security and support services. Our dedicated team relieve you of tiresome home maintenance so you can concentrate on interests and activities that you care about. We maintain the extensive gardens, parklands and common areas so you can enjoy “acres without the ache”. The exemplary design of our homes has been thoughtfully considered to deliver privacy, solar orientation and space.

As well as your own home, you have access to The Enclave which houses resort-style private facilities that you and your guests are encouraged to enjoy at your leisure. You have access to a diverse range of activities and social events on offer – the freedom is yours to participate in as little or as much as you like. The Enclave is also fully maintained by our team so you can simply enjoy the incredible facilities without any hassle.

We understand the significant role pets play in our Residents’ lives as companions and how they promote physical and emotional well-being. Your furry friends will relish the extensive parklands as you head out and explore.

Our team is there to support your needs and endeavours, providing a sense of security and fostering a vibrant community life that engages seamlessly with the broader Berry community. We take care of the little things like mowing the lawns and cleaning high windows – plus each house has an emergency call system that provides 24/7 assistance if you need it. Everything has been designed with over 55’s in mind.

The privacy of our homes is complemented by opportunities for a diverse range of social, physical and intellectual pursuits. Our Residents may choose to participate in such activities as exercise classes, Bridge Club, morning teas, gardening, social BBQ’s, bushwalking, woodworking, progressive dinners, bookchat, golfing, charity work and Landcare to name but a few.

The Arbour is nestled on 18 hectares of countryside within the historic town of Berry, which is simply a wonderful place to live.

Known as ‘The Town of Trees’, many are attracted to Berry for its beautiful gardens and gorgeous countryside. It offers quality of life, a temperate climate in picturesque surrounds and the amenity of a rich community life allowing you to pursue a broad range of interests.

Easily accessible

All of this and more are within a comfortable 2 hour drive from Sydney and close to the coastal town centres of Wollongong, Nowra, Shellharbour and Batemans Bay. For those wishing to avoid the city traffic, Berry Train Station is just over a kilometre from The Arbour, with regular daily services running to and from Sydney Central Station.

Berry is home to a diverse range of pursuits such as arts and crafts, galleries, antiques, wineries, gourmet cafes, pubs & restaurants, festivals, markets, gardening, bushwalking, and sporting endeavours - all readily accessible for your enjoyment.

Community groups cater to almost any interest. Berry is a vibrant country town, with events on every month including the famous Berry Markets on the first Sunday of every month, the Berry Show on the first weekend of February, the Berry Celtic Festival mid-year and the beautiful Berry Gardens Festival every October.
